Scope of Works
Electrical Works for the New Preston Station to: –
- Station buildings
- Elevated Platforms including Platform Canopies.
- Staircases, Ramps, Bridge and Supplies to two Lifts.
- Major Carpark, In ground services and lighting
- Shared User Path and general paths lighting.
Specific electrical scope included supply and installation of: –
- LV main switchboard.
- Technical earthing system to equipotential Zones
- Isolation Transformers.
- Sub distribution boards.
- Generator System.
- LV mains, submains, final sub-circuit and control cabling.
- Lighting control equipment.
- Electrical metering equipment.
- Emergency lighting control and monitoring equipment.
- Electrical and communication cable trays and support brackets.
- Electrical above ground conduit and wiring systems.
- Light switches, socket outlets and isolators.
- Luminaires and associated accessories and mounting brackets.
- Luminaires and Pole coordination to ensure aesthetics are maintained.
- Emergency luminaires and exit signs.
- Testing and commissioning.
